Trilateral Workshop on Nature Restoration Planning for the Wadden Sea Ecosystem

The trilateral workshop on Nature Restoration Planning for the Wadden Sea Ecosystem on 24 March in Hamburg will serve as a focused platform for exchange and coordination among the three countries. It will highlight the Wadden Sea’s relevance and obligations under the Nature Restoration Regulation, bring together existing knowledge on restoration efforts, and help identify shared ecological priorities. Participants will work to spot synergies, fill gaps, and explore opportunities for coordinated trilateral action. The workshop will also provide space to discuss national approaches to preparing restoration plans and to shape a joint contribution from the TWSC to the three national Nature Restoration Plans.
